Caroll Forseth's artistic ability began to emerge when he was ayoung boy living in Alberta. He was one of nine chiildren born to Norwegian immigrants homesteading in Canada. Although his surroundings did not afford him the luxury of art lessons as a child, the drive and determination of years have made Forseth a master. He developed his technique and sensitivity to color all on his own.

The ruugged and majestic Rocky Mountains provide the inspiration for the majority of his work. Working from a wide pallette, he projects tangibility from the canvas in color, weight, and texture. The pallette knife and brush seem to take on a life of their own as they effortlessly fashion the subject, held by the hand and followed by the eyes that have become on with canvas and oils.

Mr. Forseth's full time career as an artist has afforded him a stress free lifestyle for over twenty years. In addition to being an artist, he is a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.

Years of magnifying his talent have earned Carroll Forseth the esteem of his students, patrons, and fellow artists. His endless dedication to art shows, comissioned work, and teaching is evidence of a a deep commitment to sharing his vision with others.
